Established on 1 October 2001, British Healthcare has set out to become an industry driven umbrella organisation, bringing together representatives of exporters from across the healthcare spectrum-trade associations, manufacturers, the universities, the Royal Colleges of Medicine, non-clinical consultants, the NHS and government at both regional and national levels.
 

ECGD, the Export Credits Guarantee Department, is the UK’s official export credit agency. We are a separate Government Department reporting to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry. We derive our powers from the 1991 Export and Investment Guarantees Act.
